DAY 1
MONDAY 6TH JULY
DRIVING TO THE FLINDERS & DEVILS PEAK
After a quick introduction from the staff and meeting crew you'll be spending the next 5 days with, we will start our drive North!
With plenty of stops to stretch the legs along the way, we will conquer the Devil's Peak hike in Quorn. The short but steep hike to the summit will reward us with panoramic views of the Flinders Ranges.
Our first night will involve learning how to set up tents, cooking on camp stoves and getting to know each other around a campfire.

DAY 2
TUESDAY 7TH JULY
ROCK CLIMBING
We’ll pack up camp at Warren Gorge and walk to our rock climbing location next to the campground. Everyone will learn how to safely belay and climbing techniques...whether you are new to climbing or a pro, there will be a challenge for everyone!
A 2hr drive in the afternoon will have us arriving at camp in the heart of Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park.
AROONA RUINS CAMPGROUND

DAY 3
WEDNESDAY 8TH JULY
MOUNTAIN BIKE THE MAWSON
Day 3 will have the group riding on one of the best sections of the Mawson Trail, a well-known bike touring route in South Australia. Across the whole day, the group will cover approximately 30kms visiting breathtaking locations such as the Razorback Lookout and Bunyeroo Valley.
After a big day on the bike, we will enjoy a second night at Aroona Ruins with options to relax, workshop mountain biking skills and play games in the later afternoon.

DAY 4
THURSDAY 9TH JULY
HIKE AND ABSEIL RAWNSLY BLUFF
Our final day of adventure will include an optional sunrise hike , before driving to Rawnsley Park Station.
The group will hike to one of the most scenic abseil locations, Rawnsley Bluff, and have plenty of opportunities to abseil down the cliffs.

DAY 5
FRIDAY 10TH JULY
DRIVE HOME
We’ll hop on the bus and start the long drive back to Adelaide. Everyone will be heading home having learnt new skills, made lasting memories and strong friendships.

Who is this for...This adventure is for young people between the ages of 14 and 17 years old.You don’t need to be super human!...and you do not need to be the best camper, rock climber or hiker.All you need is a moderate fitness level and a sense of adventure!

Food
Food for this camp is not catered (except for dinner on final night). Meals should be easy to cook on a small camping stove and last without refrigeration.
